Crazy Eights is a well-regarded card game enjoyed globally, with various regional names such as Mau-Mau, Switch, or 101. It has also been commercially released under the title Uno.

The game accommodates 2 to 4 players, with each player receiving five cards (seven in a two-player variant). The objective is to be the first to discard all cards. Players achieve this by matching either the rank or suit of the top card in the discard pile. If a player cannot make a legal play, they must draw from the stockpile until they can.

Among its mechanics, special cards play pivotal roles: Aces reverse the game's direction, Queens compel the next player to forfeit their turn, and Twos require the next player to draw two cards unless they can also play a Two, which creates a 'stacking' effect. Eights allow a player to designate the suit for the subsequent turn.
